BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (LEVEL 1)
Course Aim
To provide participants with the basic skills and knowledge in
order to recognize and provide immediate first aid for a range of
common illnesses and injuries.
Course
This training is suitable for individuals, companies and
organizations, and will provide participants with the knowledge and
skills to make them confident and competent to perform Basic Life
Support.
Prerequisites
Minimum age of 14 years is recommended
Learning Outcomes
• Demonstrate
knowledge of the principles of first aid.
• Demonstrate the
performance of effective CPR
• Identify a range of
common illnesses and injuries.
• Demonstrate
knowledge of first aid management for a range of common illnesses
and injuries.

Three years. Annual refreshers recommended.
